It’s an all outdoor extravaganza this week. First up Travis gives a quick impromptu guitar / music lesson then reveals that as of this week it has officially been 10 years since he last went camping. Camping was one of his favorite things to do until his back decided it hated everything. But now that his back is all better he’s decided it’s time to get back out there and he wants Brandi to go with him. So what better way to convince her then by telling her the story of his last camping trip when he almost froze to death. After that we keep the camping train rollin’ as Travis’ old camping buddy Dave stops by for a Tiny Odd Conversation. While in the TOC Pod HQ he talked about launching surfboards into traffic, going to Yellowstone, some failed fishing, partying in Montana, the unusual use of a banana in a girl’s face, a guy named Stump and Travis getting repeatedly punched in the face. All in all it’s one of the greater misadventures that Travis has ever been on. Finally we end with Brandi talking about her desire to run in a marathon. Or maybe it’s a half marathon. Or maybe it’s just a few miles on an obstacle course. Either way Travis is not a fan since a few years ago a simple pothole almost hobbled Brandi. So Travis doesn’t want Brandi going on a long distance run because she might get injured. But camping out in the cold where they could both die? Yeah, that’s totally cool.
